PASSPORTS & VISAS
No visas required for EU passport holders. Children need their own passports to enter the country - entry is prohibited for children who have dual ownership passports with their guardians.

Mediterranean
Average Summer Temperature 84`F, they have over 300 days of sunshine a year. (Much greener than Spain despite common belief).

CURRENCY

A Euro equals 10.8 Dirhams, & a Pound Sterling equals 16.3 Dirhams. The unit of currency is the Dirham (Dh), which is divided into 100 centimes. Business visitors are advised to consult their banks for the current rate of exchange. Overseas visitors need to change their currency into Dirhams locally. The Moroccan Central Bank (Bank Al Maghreb) fixes the value of the Dirham using a basket of currencies including the Euro, Dollar and Yen

SPORTS

Over 3,000 kms of coastline plus numerous natural and artificial lakes, there are a wide variety of water sports including: Sailing, Scuba Diving, Surfing, Kite Surfing, Canoeing and Rafting. There are a wide variety of schools and clubs if you need to have lessons. Essaouira has become known as The Windy City as it is windy for 320 days of the year, international windsurfing competitions are hosted here. Skiing is also possible in Oukaimeden which is 70km from Marrakech for several months of the year until late April. The winter sports also include Mule Skiing in Mischliffen which is on the doorstep of Meknes and Fes.  Alternatively you can hike through the Atlas Mountains. Camel riding and trekking are also perfect sports to practice here.

Who can buy
Any investor (overseas or resident) can purchase in Morocco’s luxury property developments.

Leasehold or Freehold

Holding Deposits

A holding deposit can be paid prior to viewing our Morocco properties.  These vary between 3-5,000 € dependant on the developers requirements - Holding deposits are fully refundable prior to viewing.

Payment Terms
Full deposit of between 30-40% (dependant on developer) will be payable upon signing of full reservation contract.  No further payments are required prior to completion. Deposits on resale property in Morocco may vary.

Re-sale

You can sell your property or assign your agreement to anybody. This can be done at any point throughout the build period or after.
